 WELCOME TO ANIME OUKOKU Anime Ahem, as I'm sure you know, this site is completely dedicated to anime and manga (manga is the book version of anime), so allow me to give you a brief explanation about anime and manga for those of you who don't know. Anime is originally created by the japanese. Later, most series are subbed or dubbed so the rest of the world can watch it. Anime is very popular with adolescents these days (like me). Anyway, I personally prefer subs over dubs:1. Subs take less time to sub, usually around a week, while most animes are subbed, only some are dubbed. 2. The voices in the anime stay the same when subbed, so you get to hear the original voices and understan what they're saying. 3. You get to catch on a few japanese words when listening to subs and you may be able to speak a little japanese later! 4. Anyway, most people prefer subs over dubs (sometimes when people dub the anime, the graphics and stuff change a bit, and the voices are usually bad). Convinced yet? Well it's not my problem, it's just your personal preference. At first I liked dubs because I always used to watch anime on tv, but then I found out that there were better anime out there that weren't dubbed, but subbed, so I started watching subs instead. I found subs to be way better than dubs as well. |
